Fort Wayne, USA, 26 June 2007: The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership (NIRP) has entered into a partnership with GIS Planning Inc. to create advanced economic development maps. The partnership will allow NIRP to create interactive maps with sites, buildings and demographics. Officials say the web-based maps will include all 11 counties in the region and be available worldwide.

GIS Planning will allow the Regional Partnership to integrate into their website technologies and data from GIS Planning’s ZoomProspector and Google Maps, creating a platform for advanced economic development maps. These maps will feature sites and buildings, demographics, interactive and business mapping.

The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership was created in 2006, with the mission to market the eleven-county region and team with local economic development organizations (LEDOs) to bring new jobs and commercial investment to the area.
