NGA appoints Susan Gordon as Deputy Director

Susan Gordon, new Deputy Director, NGAUS, November 7, 2014: The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency has appointed Susan M Gordon, as the deputy director. She shall assume her role upon the retirement of Mike Rodrigue, the current NGA deputy director, who retires on 31 December.

Gordon has wide-ranging executive management experience and has served in senior leadership positions in all four of the CIA’s directorates. In her most recent position as director of the CIA’s information operations centre she was responsible for transforming espionage through cyber by blending human and technical solutions to produce high-impact intelligence in support of national security interests. Just prior to this assignment, Gordon served as the CIA's director for support and the director of special activities.
