DMTI Spatial, the spatial solutions provider, offers spatial tools – version 7.0 of its Postal Code Data Products. DMTI Spatial’s postal code product line is unparalleled in its accuracy, coverage and functionality, and moves customers significantly closer to address excellence, facilitating the optimization of marketing campaigns.
Based on the superior geographic precision of CanMap®, DMTI Spatial’s Multiple Enhanced Postal Code Data File (MEP) and Unique Enhanced Postal Code Data File (UEP) offer customers a choice of detail and functionality that allows them to select the dataset that best fits their business needs. Version 7.0 of both the MEP and the UEP contain expanded attribute data with population dwelling counts as well as links to Statistics Canada’s Census demographic boundaries. The MEP has added 2,825 new postal codes across Canada, bringing its total number to 976,632, and is combined with community names, postal code longitude and latitude, and postal code birth and retirement dates. The UEP provides a 1:1 relationship (one postal code represents one postal code location), enabling users to accurately geocode data to the postal code centroid.
