Australia: Sydney-based sustainable real assets investment specialist, New Forests, will implement Trimble’s Land Resource Manager (LRM) solution to manage its Acacia Forest Industries Sdn Bhd (AFI) investment information, the company announced on Thursday.
An intuitive, interactive and spatially-aware enterprise application for managing land and forestry operations, Trimble’s LRM software solution serves the critical functions of asset planning, management and decision support with flexible customer-specific business workflows.
The LRM is a key component of Trimble‘s Connected Forest solution, which manages the full raw materials lifecycle.
“Trimble‘s Connected Forest solution lays the foundation for a centralized reporting and compliance process,” said Ken Moen, general manager of Trimble‘s Forestry Division. “We are committed to delivering a solution that addresses New Forests’ land, forest and conservation business and investment strategies.”
“Our growing Asian investment business demands a robust forest information management system to enable effective asset management,” said James Bullen, director, Investments & Operations for New Forests.
“As our portfolio companies adopt the Trimble Connected Forest solution, we believe it will support efforts to enhance forest value and enterprise value through strategic management of the forest resources of our investments.”
