Chicago, USA, 19 June 2007: NAVTEQ has announced availability of full coverage maps for Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Slovenia, providing a road network map from the Baltic Sea in the North, southwest to the Adriatic Sea. With full coverage maps for these five countries, drivers will have access to over one million kilometers of road network.
Thirty-seven city areas are covered at NAVTEQ’s highest coverage level called Detailed Coverage. A cornerstone to NAVTEQ’s accuracy, this means that all the roads in the area are included in the data set and that all the attributes associated with the road have been verified by geographic analysts. The datasets contain all navigable roads.
