US: The National Agricultural Aviation Association (NAAA) has launched a safety campaign to raise awareness and prevent accidents between drone operators and UAVs. The association believes that precision farming will make up 80 percent of the potential market for drones, once the government finalises commercial operation rules. This is because farmers are showing enthusiasm to purchase their own drones for crop-sensing and aerial imaging. Therefore, it has become even more important for the association to ensure that accidents from collisions with wires and unmarked towers are avoided.
