MSU India organises workshop on Remote Sensing and GIS

The Geography Department of the M S University has organised a ten-day workshop from May 20 on remote sensing and Geographic Information System. Scientists and scholars from institutions like Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Ahmedabad, the Bhaskaracharya Institute for Space Applications and Geo-Informatics (BISAG), Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI), ROLTA will participate in the workshop.

Rolee Kanchan, the head of the university’s Geography Department said that one of the main objectives of the workshop is to create awareness about remote sensing and GIS as these technologies are not fully exploited.
