Microsoft releases UltraMap 2.3

Graz, Austria: The Microsoft UltraCam business unit released UltraMap 2.3 and UltraMap/AT 2.3. According to the company’s press statement, UltraMap 2.3 supports the UltraCam Eagle and has additional features and improvements in the raw data centre, radiometry and tools. Additionally, the company will present these latest UltraMap enhancements in an upcoming UltraMap 2.3 Live Meeting webcast.

The company announced that it will distribute UltraMap 2.3 and UltraMap/AT 2.3 to its customers with the following details:
– The software will be available for download from its FTP server.
– Customers with a current maintenance agreement will receive download instructions and dongle upgrades from its implementation team.
– Customers without a current maintenance agreement can contact the company for an upgrade quote to UltraMap 2.3 and UltraMap/AT 2.3.

Meanwhile the company announced that it recently sold an UltraCamLp photogrammetric digital aerial camera system to Blue Skies Consulting, based in Belen, New Mexico. The purchase for Blue Skies, a company with two planes and a staff of just five, marks its first digital aerial camera system.
