Mexico gets data analysis laboratory

Mexico: The National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) of Mexico has opened Data Analysis Laboratory in collaboration with the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT). The service brings a risk management model that ensures the confidentiality and privacy principles established in the Law on the National Statistical and Geographic Information (LSNIEG). This includes five elements; infrastructure, people, projects, data and results.

The Data Analysis Laboratory will offer access to microdata surveys in economic, agricultural, population and housing censuses to users. INEGI developed this new service taking experiences of countries like United Kingdom, United States, Italy and the Netherlands.
