MDG Mapper to monitor progress of developmental projects in Africa

South Africa, 05 June 2007: Economic Commission for Africa has developed a tool named MDG Mapper for one of the African states for visualizing and exploring Africa’s progress in its developmental projects those were initiated in the name of Millennium Development Goals in 2015 (MGD).

MDG Mapper is providing functionalities to thematically map MGD project progress, view raw and derived data, chart the indicator and producing a set of summary statisticsand metrics of spatial association.

MDG Mapper is a joint initiative of the Geoinformation Systems Section (GiSS), the MDGs, Poverty Analysis and Monitoring Section (MDGs/PAMS), and the African Centre for Statistics (ACS) at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
