MapViewSVG for ArcGIS 8.x now also available as professional version

uismedia Lang & Müller presents the new product MapViewSVG Professional. The Extension has the same functionality as the standard Version of MapViewSVG for ArcGIS 8.x. In addition to this function MapViewSVG Professional offers the possibility to load layers dynamically dependent on their visibility in the map view. MapViewSVG allows you to convert maps with all layout settings to the SVG format (Scalable Vector Format). SVG allows to publish the maps as vector data on Internet/Intranet or CD-ROM. SVG graphics have the advantage to be infinitely zoomable without loosing quality. Beside this, the file size is quite small and loads much faster in a web browser as raster data. MapViewSVG Professional offers the possibility to load layers dynamically, when they are visible in the map view. Raster images can be tiled and be saved as raster catalog by MapViewSVG Professional. MapViewSVG Professional load tiles from a raster catalog dynamically as soon as they are visible in the map view. The dynamic loading of layers and tiles can considerable reduce the loading time during first load of the SVG project. Among this MapViewSVG Professional has these functionalities:
·Export of vector based data in the SVG format
·Support of image data
·Support of “Annotation Coverages” of ArcInfo,Textlayer of CAD data as well as support of “DatabaseThemes”
·Turn on and off individual themes in the MapView
