Mapping poverty rates in the States

US: The New York Times has published an interactive map that illustrates poverty rates defined as narrowly as the neighborhood level, both in terms of rates and population. Southeast Raleigh, for example, shows rates as high as 57 %, while the North Hills area shows poverty at about 6 %. Tract-level data comes from the year 2008- 12 American Community Survey.
