MapInfo launches StreetPro Hong Kong

MapInfo Corporation, the global provider of Location Intelligence solutions, recently announced the release of MapInfo StreetPro for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (S.A.R.). StreetPro Hong Kong is a comprehensive and up-to-date digital street database providing users with a flexible, multipurpose foundation for location-intelligent business initiatives such as site selection, infrastructure management, customer mapping and resource visualisation. With an Asia Pacific data suite comprising Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand and now Hong Kong, MapInfo has developed street database across the Asia Pacific region that expands to street level and can be used by governments and organisations worldwide.

MapInfo StreetPro is MapInfo’s street data product for the Hong Kong S.A.R. and offers comprehensive and current street centreline and boundary information suitable for a broad range of applications. StreetPro Hong Kong comprises an extensive array of layers including a high quality street network and a wide variety of contextual layers such as parks, waterways, landmass and rail to enhance analysis and map presentation. It also includes integrated building footprints identifying building structures throughout the territory and bilingual attribution of administrative boundaries, streets, landmarks, and buildings in English and traditional Chinese. With StreetPro customers can perform comprehensive, efficient and effective streets-based analysis.
