Switzerland, October 7, 2014: Pix4D has signed a partnership with Mapbox to allow users to store, publish and interact with the produced data in a fast and easy way, making use of Mapbox’s APIs.

As a result of the agreement, Pix4Dmapper clients can optimize their workflow with a one-click upload of orthomosaics directly in the software and gain access to a free Mapbox “Plus Plan” account that offers up to 10GB of free storage as of today.

Christoph Strecha, CEO of Pix4D said, “One of our goals is to offer users an automated workflow that allows them to spend less time producing high-resolution results and more time analyzing and interacting with the processed data. Including new upload and sharing functionalities directly in the software enables users to be even more efficient all the while keeping control over how the data is shared.”

Over the years, Mapbox has built a custom platform using open source software and open data that allows users to design and publish custom maps.
