Macau police to upgrade response system

Thursday, 27 March 2008 – China Public Security Technology, Inc, a provider of public security information technology and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software services, announced it has won the contract to upgrade the Macau Police Bureau’s emergency response system.

Using a combined solution, including the company’s First Responder Co-ordination Platform and police-use GIS, the Macao First Responder 999 Project is expected to enable Macao’s public security forces to command and co-ordinate joint responses and provide the public with efficient and reliable assistance, Telecomworldwire reported.

In addition, China Public Security said it sees strong potential demand for its Intelligent Border Control System between Macau and Zhuhai City, as well as for its civil-use GIS platform in the near future. No financial details about the deal were disclosed.
