US: A new location-based service called Joingo Places allows brand marketers to directly communicate with their customers, deliver mobile messages and offers that are based on customers’ interests and location.

Joingo Places has been developed by a California-based company called Joingo. It enables brand marketers to create multiple indoor and outdoor geofences. They can send messages to customers within those defined areas. It can be done immediately or when triggered by an entry or exit event. It also offers analytics, displaying both overall and filtered views of customers’ location and movements within the geofence. This helps in understanding customer behavior. It also helps customers in finding out specific locations while in the venue (store).
