Leica announces version 3.1 of Leica MobileMatriX

(Heerbrugg, Switzerland) Leica Geosystems has announce version 3.1 of Leica MobileMatriX. This version supports the new Leica Geosystems instrument series FlexLine and GPS1200+, as well as ESRI ArcGIS 9.3, and Microsoft Vista.

Leica MobileMatriX, together with Leica instruments, is the solution for mobile GIS applications in combination with GNSS, Total Stations, Level, Digital Cameras, and LRF on the market today. Innovative solutions offer flexible and powerful systems that are scalable and designed for ease-of-use.

Leica MobileMatriX v3.1 continues to be the number one choice for multi-sensor mobile GIS solutions. This release contains new instrument drivers to support the latest Leica Geosystems TPS and GNSS instruments. Using Leica GPS1200+, the GNSS systems GPS (including L5), GLONASS, Galileo and Compass are supported. This allows the tracking of all satellites today and tomorrow, ensuring maximum performance in the field.

Leica MobileMatriX on ArcGIS Edition is updated to support the latest ESRI ArcGIS version 9.3 and is able to run on Microsoft Vista. Therefore organisations can use the latest ESRI software versions in the field and the office, ensuring maximum compatibility and dataflow improvement when using Distributed Geodatabase functionality.
