Leica Geosystems has announced the launch of the Leica Zeno CS25 and CS25 GNSS plus, the next generation of the popular and durable tablet with 17 inch screen for GIS data collection. Both devices offer improved overall performance, with more storage capacity, a higher resolution camera and faster communication capabilities to brush up asset collection & field data management.

The Leica Zeno CS25 plus and Leica CS25 GNSS plus tablets GNSS plus are easy to handle and have fast and effective performance. Recent improvements have transformed the CS25 plus device into the ideal for field users who need a robust and powerful equipment, but at the same time portable and with a professional performance. The CS25 weighs 1.3 kilograms and has a touch screen of 17 cm which offers excellent visibility in outdoor environments – even in direct sunlight. It also has a Microsoft Windows 7 operating system.

A new display improves visibility and a 5 megapixel camera offers better image resolution for field collected images. The new Leica Zeno CS25 plus keeps the durable look and the ease of use of the previous device but has become a much more powerful device. It also meets the stringent MIL-STD 810G military standards for withstanding humidity, vibrations, drops and extreme temperatures, besides an IP65 rating against dust and water.

CS25 plus and CS25 GNSS plus are already available. More information can be found at http://www.leica-geosystems.com/zeno.
