Latitude Geographics releases Geocortex Essentials 1.1

Canada, 14 May 2007: Latitude Geographics has announced the release of Geocortex Essentials 1.1, an extension to ESRI’s ArcGIS Server and Web ADF.

Geocortex Essentials is designed as an extension software for ESRI’s ArcGIS Server 9.2 and ADF technologies. Developed in .NET and designed to extend and support the process of building ArcGIS Server applications. Geocortex Essentials provides tools, processes and features to simplify the process of creating and managing multiple applications with ArcGIS Server.

ArcGIS Server is a Web-based GIS that comes with end user applications and services for spatial data management, visualization, and spatial analysis. The entire enterprise can take advantage of the extensive GIS capabilities made available via ArcGIS Server without having to install any special software on the client and without special GIS training required on the part of the end user.

Latitude Geographics Group through its Geocortex Internet Mapping division, is providing web-based GIS solutions to enable better decisions. Latitude Geographics simplifies ArcIMS and ArcGIS Server deployment by providing software and services that eliminate inefficiencies in the process of building and maintaining web-based GIS applications.
