Latin America Geospatial Forum 2012 brochure launched in Rio

Rio De Janeiro, Brazil: Geospatial Media & Comunicação Ltda. successfully held a brochure launch function of Latin America Geospatial Forum 2012 and GeoIntelligence Latin America 2012. Both the events will be held parallel to each other at Sul America Convention Centre in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from 15 – 17 August, 2012(LAGF) and 16-17 August, 2012(GeoIntelligence Latin America).

Latin America Geospatial Forum 2012 organised by Geospatial Media & Comunicação in association with IBGE, Brasil is the second international conference on geospatial technologies and applications which aims at bringing together decision-makers, developers, researchers and application users to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, experiences and concerns in the field of geospatial.

With the theme Actionable Knowledge for Sustainable Development, the conference will focus on how the use of geospatial technology in various sectors like Energy, Land Administration, Mining and Exploration, Agriculture, Urban Planning, and Transport and Infrastructure will lay a ground for sustainable development in each of the sectors contributing to overall growth.
