Kazakhstan: Belarus and Kazakhstan are in agreement to draft an intergovernmental pact on space cooperation. Erkin Shaymagambetov, Chairman of the Aerospace Committee of the Ministry for Investments and Development of Kazakhstan, has pointed out that a joint space research program of Kazakhstan and Belarus might be on the cards. “Joint projects are about timing. It is possible that we will launch a joint space research program of Kazakhstan and Belarus. I think it can happen,” he said. The areas of cooperation will include earth sensing, navigation, joint space research and personnel training.
