US: ITT Exelis has released a new platform that aims to connect users to geospatial information on mobile devices when operating in remote or hostile locations.
Exelis created Jagwire Mobile for warfighters to capture and disseminate tactical images and data in areas with limited bandwidth coverage.
The new platform offers similar functions as the company’s Jagwire offering for enterprises, Exelis says.
Jim Phillips, director of Exelis’ geospatial intelligence solutions business, said the technology is designed with single user interface for geospatial data to help users make decisions.
