Israel-based Sky Sapience has launched its latest generation tethered UAV platform, HoverMast- Lite (HM-L1 and HM-L3.). The new platform will be used alongside small robotic vehicles taking part in the RCV/SMET programs. The HM-L systems contains impressive capabilities of the original HoverMast product line like 24/7/365, autonomous, 100meter hovering, on the move, bad weather operations, among others, while working on the size, weight and electric power needs of the RCV and SMET programs at the same time.

This unique design helps the drone sensors to function without controlling the vehicle’s constant workwork. The HM-L also allows the vehicle’s bed to remain available for the extra equipment and sensors. The HoverMast-Lite has the potential to incorporate most payloads weighing up to 6.0 kg. This include radars, CCD/IR cameras, lasers, cellular and mesh communication devices among others.
The HM-Lite and its payload cab be controlled easily from a single ruggedized Human- Machine Interface (UHMI.)
