Colorado, USA, 10 April 2007: Intermap Technologies today announced that its Intermap Federal Services subsidiary has received a US$2.2M contract to provide digital elevation data and orthorectified radar imagery for an international project. The data will be used by the client for mapping and regional planning.

The geospatial data being collected and delivered will be generated using the Company’s Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (IFSAR) technology aboard one of the Company’s five aircraft. Under the agreement, Intermap will process and deliver the data by the first quarter of 2008.

“With our extensive experience collecting elevation data under our contract services business and our NEXTMap proactive mapping program, contracts from our repeat customers continue to reinforce the value we deliver to the GIS community worldwide,” stated Garth Lawrence, senior vice president of operations for Intermap Technologies. “The accuracy and relevancy of this data continues to be an invaluable asset to this client.”
