Intermap receives digital mapping contract

Colorado, USA, 10 April 2006: Denver based Intermap Technologies Corporation announced that its subsidiary, Intermap Federal Services Inc, has received a subcontract to perform an international radar mapping programme. Intermap will be providing a digital surface model, a digital terrain model and orthorectified radar imagery using its proprietary X- and P-band interferometric radar technology.

The X-band system provides the surface model and orthorectified imagery, while the vegetation penetration qualities of the P-band can supply the terrain data and orthorectified imagery in areas containing dense vegetation. The contract value to Intermap is approximately US$650,000 with the acquisition and delivery of radar imagery and elevation products to be completed in the second quarter.
