Intermap bags USD 6.3 million NEXTMap data sale

Denver, US: Intermap, a leading provider of location-based information (LBI) solutions created from its uniform, high-resolution 3D digital models of the earth’s surface, announced that it has received a USD 6.2 million contract to provide digital elevation data and orthorectified radar imagery from its NEXTMap database.
The data will be used by the client for geospatial related applications. Under the terms of the agreement, Intermap will begin delivering the data during the first quarter of 2012.
Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, Intermap is a leading provider of Location-Based Information (LBI). The Company has remapped entire countries, to build NEXTMap national databases consisting of elevation data and geometric images.
