Intergraph Solutions Group, a division of Intergraph Corporation announced that it received more than $7.7 million in orders for services, hardware and software this week on the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command CAD-2 contract. This includes more than $5.2 million for Intergraph TD-R(R) rugged hardware and integration services for the U.S. Navy Naval Ship Systems Engineering Station (NAVSSES). The services primarily involve the integration of digital video surveillance into the Navy’s condition assessment and damage control systems. Intergraph continues to support NAVSSES with the Smart Ship program by designing, manufacturing and integrating rugged Intel-based workstations that operate in harsh conditions or meet military and national electronics standards, such as MIL-STD-901D near explosives survivability. Intergraph also integrates and delivers specialized software/hardware systems for damage assessment, system control, video surveillance and bridge consoles. A major ongoing effort includes integration of real-time, object-based video surveillance into damage control to automate tasks such as determining the contents of a space or type and extent of damage.
