Intergraph presents Icon Awards 2010


US: Intergraph presented the Icon Award, the company’s highest customer honour, to seven industry and government leaders for their visionary use of Intergraph’s enterprise engineering and geospatial software.

The 2010 Icon Award winners are: the Bundeswehr Geographic Information Office of the German Federal Armed Forces, a national organisation that produces maps, digital geoinformation products and meteorological data for the German Army, Navy and Air Force; ConocoPhillips, the third largest integrated energy company in the United States; CTCI, Taiwan’s largest engineering, procurement and construction firm; E-Comm 9-1-1,  the regional emergency communications centre for southwest British Columbia, Canada; the New Zealand Police and New Zealand Fire Service, the country’s dedicated law enforcement and fire response agencies; QUIP Group, a leading Brazilian offshore vessel construction firm; and Shell International Exploration and Production, a renowned global energy and petrochemicals company.  

The organisations, which have innovatively utilised Intergraph software to significantly benefit their businesses or industries, were also recognised for their ongoing partnership with Intergraph as well as their ability to yield proven results.

Intergraph Chairman, President and CEO Halsey Wise, said, “The seven Icon Award winners have proven that with Intergraph, they have the power to propel productivity and efficiency to advance their organisation’s operational goals and to shape their respective industries.”
