Intergraph Geospatial Software Symposium demonstrates total workflow solutions for users in Canada

Dec. 5, 2002 – Hosted by Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions and the Intergraph GeoSpatial Users Community (IGUC), the Intergraph Geospatial Software
Symposium in Ottawa, November 27-29, 2002, featured solutions based on GeoMedia technology for mapping, IT, and geospatial professionals. The symposium presented an excellent opportunity to receive the most up-to-date information on Intergraph products and future product development, gain insight into Intergraph’s corporate strategic objectives, view partner and local user demonstrations, and network with professionals who share similar interests.

The three-day event attracted more than 180 attendees from many different organizations across Canada and resulted in 105 new IGUC memberships. Among the solutions and products demonstrated were GeoMedia(R) Parcel Manager, GeoMedia Public Works, GeoMedia Terrain, GeoMedia Grid, and IntelliWhere(TM) OnDemand as well as all core GeoMedia products. A number of partner organizations including Oracle, Hansen Information Technologies, Keigan Systems, Trimble, and DMTI Spatial presented their products and services, rounding out a breadth of total geospatial workflow solutions. The culmination of the symposium was a day of training sessions that offered attendees
extended professional development with GeoMedia-based solutions.
