InService Outage Management System streamlines trouble and service order work KUB

Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB) provides electric, gas, water and wastewater services to more than 370,000 customers in Knoxville, Tennessee, and the seven surrounding counties. The Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions announced a rollout of its InService Outage Management System (OMS) at KUB. This new OMS is fully operational in the dispatch office and on 25 mobile units in the field for electric trouble, which has enabled KUB to shut down its legacy OMS. In addition, KUB has successfully deployed an interface between InService and the PeopleSoft Customer Information System. InService provides a seamless environment for dispatch, mobile computing, scheduling, crew management and outage management.
