Srinagar: Jammu & Kashmir, the north Indian state, is going to study the current status of land records for the cities of Jammu and Srinagar. The project is aimed at preparing a detailed and comprehensive report outlining the roadmap for modernisation of land records in the state.

The study will be done under National Land Records Modernisation Programme (NLRMP). It would identify the requirements to reach the desired status of land records. The study would focus on analyzing the gaps and recommending a strategy to remove them. The study would also detail the data model and workflow and customise the broad NLRMP workflow to the requirements specific to J&K.
