Indian state selects SuperGIS Desktop 3 software

Taiwan: SuperGeo Technologies announced that Public Works Department in the State of Arunachal Pradesh, India, procured SuperGIS Desktop 3 to assist the construction planning and infrastructure data managing.

Located in the far northeast in India, Arunachal Pradesh is an important gateway of India adjacent to Mainland China, Bhutan and Myanmar. The Public Works Department in the State of Arunachal Pradesh is a branch of the Central Public Works Dept. in India, in charge of the construction of roads, bridges, buildings all over the State.

In order to facilitate the efficiency of the construction site managing and infrastructure planning, the Public Works Department hopes to utilise GIS technologies to enhance the spatial analysis and processing. After the recommendation of RSI SOFTECH, the Department selected SuperGIS Desktop 3.  

In addition, the company announced that it will soon release brand new SuperGIS Spatial Analyst, SuperGIS Topology Analyst and SuperGIS Network Analyst Extensions. These products will serve GIS users with more complete analysis function on SuperGIS Desktop 3 to accomplish the spatial data analysis more effectively.
