Indian state launches host of web services

Trivandrum, India: Dr. M K Muneer, Minister for Panchayats and Social Welfare, Kerala State Government, India, inaugurated a host of web services as part of the Government’s flagship e-Governance programme. GIS-based Cadastral Maps (gis.lsgkerala.gov.in); Soochika File Tracking (filetracking.lsgkerala.gov.in); and Government orders, Circulars and Gazette Notifications (go.lsgkerala.gov.in), are some of the online services. These services have been developed by Information Kerala Mission (IKM).

The other online services developed by IKM for Local Self Government (LSG) Department are Sthapana for Municipal Employees Provident Fund (kmpecpf.lsgkerala.gov.in), Local Self Government Department Portal (lsgkerala.gov.in), Sevana Civil Registration for Birth, Death & Marriage Registration (cr.lsgkerala.gov.in), Sulekha Plan Monitoring for Plan Details of LSGI’s (sulekhaweb.lsgkerala.gov.in), and Sanchaya Property Tax & e-Payment (tax.lsgkerala.gov.in). In addition, the state level helpdesk (0471-2579779), Sevana Social Welfare Pension website (welfarepension.lsgkerala.gov.in) and Sthapana for Panchayat Employees Provident Fund website (kpepf.lsgkerala.gov.in) also were launched by the Minister.

Muneer said, “These e-governance initiatives will improve the quality of services being given from the local self government institutions to the citizens and also the welfare of the employees working in them.”
