India: Marc B. Lautenbach, President and CEO of Pitney Bowes reaffirmed that India is an integral part of the company’s overall growth strategy, during his recent visit to the country. He met Pitney Bowes’ clients across businesses and shared the organisation’s outlook towards innovation during his India visit. Lautenbach said that Pitney Bowes’ entry into India was a strategic move. “It was not just about expanding footprint in the region but an entrance into the India’s fast growing technology economy,” he said.
Lautenbach foresees global opportunities in big data, mobility (commerce) and social media apart from the location intelligence suite. “Going forward Pitney Bowes will continue to invest in its location intelligence and e-commerce solutions. Innovations form the foundation of Pitney Bowes growth strategy and a very critical component of Pitney Bowes’ transformative journey has been to continue to innovate around products, services and business processes,” he said.
