In-store shoppers interested in location-based services

UK: A new study called ‘Global Shopper Study’, by Zebra Technologies Corporation, has revealed that shoppers are interested in Wi-Fi and location-based, in-store services such as mobile coupons, shopping maps and associate assistance.

The result of the study are going to help the company’s One Store, One Experience campaign – which focusses on brand experience, delivery and fulfilment, loyalty, big data and store mobility to transform the connected customer experience. With higher customer expectations, retailers acknowledge that the role of technology has never been greater. The study also indicated that more than one-third of shoppers feel better connected to real-time information than in-store associates.
