HP launches the HP DesignJet 4500 Printer

Hewlett-Packard recently announced the launch of the HP DesignJet 4500 printer, scanner and multi-function printer (MFP). These new large-format solutions increase media feed and output capacity to take productivity to a new level. The HP DesignJet 4500 printer series has been designed to maximize unattended printer operation. The most distinguishing feature of this printer is the fact that it has extra-large, flexible media input capacity. Two independent rolls allow for different media types or sizes. With fast automatic roll switching, this printer can print unattended. As margins are only 0.2 inches wide, even trimming is unnecessary. To further enhance unattended productivity, this printer has an optional stacker, which can hold up to 200 plots*. The stacker automatically flattens/de-curls the output and synchronises seamlessly with the printer. The HP DesignJet 4500 printer deliver print resolution of up to 2400 X 1200 dpi and 0.1% line accuracy. This large format printer also offers enhanced print speed, thanks to HP Double Swath Technology. This technology enables twice the performance in black and white and in colour. Two long – life HP print heads for each colour deliver a wide print swath and a higher firing frequency, which increase print speed. The HP DesignJet 4500 uses supplies which have been specially formulated for high volume, high productivity printing. The new HP 90 Extra – Large 775 cc Black Ink Cartridge and 3 – Ink Cartridge Multipack provide more ink and lower printing costs.
