HP has announced it is replacing the midrange laser printer with the HP LaserJet 4200 printer, a model that is faster and easier to use, yet costs the same as its predecessor. HP also introduced the HP LaserJet 4300 printer for businesses in need of even greater speed and flexibility. The two products offer businesses affordable, high-performance monochrome printing solutions to suit the most demanding workgroups.
The new printers elevate the industry’s monochrome printing standard established by the HP LaserJet 4000 series. The HP LaserJet 4200 (replacing the 4100 model) and HP LaserJet 4300 offer faster print speeds, increased memory, expanded paper handling options, intuitive user-intervention graphics and lower total cost of ownership — all with industry-proven HP quality and reliability.
“Not only has HP raised the bar for monochrome office printing, we’ve done so without raising the cost to businesses. For example, with our new LaserJet 4200 we’ve increased output speed by 40 percent while maintaining the acquisition cost of its predecessor,” said Cheong Chee Keong, business unit manager, Shared Printing and Imaging.
