Hidroven, CNTI Venezuela to enhance spatial data infrastructure

Venezuela: HIDROVEN, Parent Company for Water Supply and Sanitation Water and Sanitation Sector (Sector APS) and National Center of Information Technology, Venezuela signed a Cooperation Framework Agreement to strengthen inter-agency governance through the development and implementation of Spatial Data Infrastructure of Venezuela (Ideven).

The Ideven project is in its second phase, where two nodes of geographic information with the support of the Geographic Institute of Venezuela Simon Bolivar (IGVSB) will be used in the National Geoportal and the publication of self-instructional courses, important in the consolidation of the Ideven under Free Software, and to obtain the consultation and remote access to spatial information.
