Colorado: Latest satellite imagery revealed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) is targeting Israel and Iran with ballistic missiles. KSA has built missile launch pads that target both Iran and Israel with ballistic missiles, according to imagery and analysis by IHS Jane’s, the British security consultancy.

The satellite images reveal a surface-to-surface missile base that remained undisclosed so far. Analysts believe that these images show two launch pads. One of the launch pads is pointing towards Tel Aviv and the other one points towards Tehran. The base is believed to home to Saudi’s DF-3 missiles which have a range of 1,500-2,500 miles. The base was constructed within the last five years.

“Our assessment suggests that this base is either partly or fully operational, with the launch pads pointing in the directions of Israel and Iran, respectively,” said Robert Munks, the deputy editor of IHS Jane’s Intelligence Review, in the Telegraph. “We do not want to make too many inferences about the Saudi strategy, but clearly Saudi Arabia does not enjoy good relations with either Iran or Israel.” According to the report published in The Telegraph, the fact that the Saudis find it necessary to point missiles at Israel is itself an alarming indictment of the Obama administration’s decision to turn its back on an erstwhile ally. The report further said that if America were fully engaged in taking care of its allies, then there would be no need for the Saudis to target Israel.
