Hexagon Mining unveils Surveyor

US: Hexagon Mining has launched the Surveyor suite of programmes. These programmes are designed to process all data produced by varied survey operations. The suite is made up of two tools —Surveyor Office and Surveyor Adjust. Office is a desktop survey and design programme developed on the IntelliCAD engine. It can create Digital Terrain Models and surface models in just a few steps. And the models can be easily manipulated by editing points, or using breaklines and boundaries. Adjust uses the Least Squares Method to simultaneously adjust all observations and produce a single best-fit solution. It doesn’t matter if your data is in a single-loop or it is made up of a complex network of interconnecting traverses. The method ensures that more reliable measurements are given more influence in the adjustment.
