Haestad Methods announced the release of PumpMasterTM, a new pump selection and analysis tool that streamlines the process of selecting and designing efficient pump solutions. Haestad Methods, provider of water resources management software, will showcase PumpMaster this week in Anaheim, California, at the 2003 AWWA Annual Conference and Exposition, Booth No. 1023. PumpMaster contains a high-performance search engine and a database of thousands of pump performance curves from top pump manufacturers, making it the industry’s most comprehensive and up-to-date source for pump information. Knowing only the flow and head required, PumpMaster’s interface guides the user through a search of performance curves and automatically returns a list of the best selection of pumps in seconds. Other key features include:

  • Powerful graphic capabilities including comparison of multiple pump head curves, and display of net positive suction head, system, efficiency, and power curves
  • Enhanced analysis features for complex pump stations and variable-speed pumping
  • Targeted searches based on pump alignment, impeller type, fluid, and coupling
  • Integrated tools for evaluating and comparing operational energy costs of multiple pumps
  • Flexible pump queries for either a single pump or a battery of pumps
  • Web-based and stand-alone interface options
