Haestad Methods announced of closing a strategic sale with Sanepar

August 5, 2002–Haestad Methods has announced of closing strategic sale with Sanepar, one of the largest water supply and wastewater treatment companies in Latin America, which serves more than seven million residents and over 95 percent of the population in Paraná, Brazil.

The Brazilian utility selected Haestad Methods’ WaterCAD and SewerCAD water resources modelling software to conduct design analysis, risk assessment, and remedial activities. In this way, Haestad Methods’ technology will be used to maintain and preserve Sanepar’s 600 water distribution and 250 sanitary sewer networks in Paraná.

Sanepar has long recognized Haestad Methods’ products for their ease of use, flexibility, and powerful features. Over the course of its seven-year relationship with Haestad Methods, Sanepar has purchased more than 30 individual licenses of Haestad Methods’ software attributing to increased efficiency and reduced costs of operating its water and wastewater networks.
