The European GNSS Agency (GSA) has launched two calls for papers days ahead of its GNSS Raw Measurements Taskforce Workshop, which is scheduled to hold online on May 28, 2020. While the first call target innovative work, the second one is linked to testing EGNOS Data Access Service (EDAS) corrections in smart phones.
The GSA is mainly interested in recent work related GNSS raw measurements in robustness, high accuracy, testing or monitoring. The other work in these areas apart from the use of raw measurements is also of interest. Proposals must be submitted by 6 May.
According to Martin Šunkevič, GSA Market Development Innovation Officer, “There are several advantages to using GNSS raw measurements in smartphones, including greater accuracy and flexibility when building multi-GNSS solutions. The GNSS Raw Measurements Taskforce Workshop is an excellent opportunity to share experience around these solutions”
“I am looking forward to a very lively exchange that will benefit all the participants,” he added, as per gsa.europa.eu.
