New York: GroundTruth, the leading location technology company that leverages data and insights to drive business performance, on March 16 announced the appointment of Sunil Kumar to Chief Executive Officer. Kumar, a co-founder of GroundTruth, has been serving as the company’s Chief Operating Officer for the past two years, driving double-digit growth and profitability. Under Kumar’s leadership, GroundTruth increased its data scale over 300%, secured new patents to enhance location marketing and launched its self-serve platform, Ads Manager. Kumar also increased the leadership bench of GroundTruth by adding Jeff Hackett as SVP of Sales and Eric Hadley as Chief Marketing Officer. Kumar continues to bring the power of location to marketers to drive business performance.

Before founding GroundTruth, Kumar was a founder of V-Enable, which provided voice search solutions to a host of carriers including Verizon, Sprint and Cricket.
