Guidetek Technology Co. Ltd of Taiwan has launched the GSpace GS-R211, a GPS receiver that is built with a SiRF Star II chipset and ARM7TDMI CPU.

The NMEA 0183 V2.2-compliant device has 12 parallel satellite-tracking channels and position accuracy of 5m to 25m CEP without SA. It supports WAAS and EGNOS. It has acquisition rates of 8 seconds for hot start, 38 seconds for warm start and 45 seconds for cold start.

The GSpace GS-R211 is equipped with a built-in patch antenna and a power on/off LED indicator. It measures 66x51x22.5mm and weighs less than 100g.
