8 August 2002 Intermap Technologies has announced pricing discounts on its archive S.E. Asian data, available through GLOBAL Terrain, Intermap’s online terrain elevation data store. The reductions in price pave the way for new data acquisitions in the area, which Intermap will commence later this quarter.
Current pricing for the S.E. Asian archive data, which includes the islands of Java and Irian Jaya in Indonesia, has been reduced nearly 40%. The elevation data has 5m posts with 3m RMSE vertical accuracy. Pricing for the orthorectified radar imagery has been reduced by a similar amount. The orthorectified radar imagery has a 2.5m pixel size and is a proven source of ground control for orthorectifying aerial or satellite imagery. Full pricing details can be found at www.globalterrain.com.
Intermap will be exhibiting at Map Asia 2002 in Bangkok, Thailand August 7-9, as well as the 11th Australasian Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Conference to be held in Brisbane, Australia September 2-7.
