The Geospatial Information & Technology Association (GITA) has selected professional speaker Amanda Gore to provide the keynote address at GITA’s Annual Conference 26, March 2-5, 2003 in San Antonio, Texas. Gore is one of Australia’s most popular professional speakers. She holds a degree in physiotherapy, a major in psychology and is a master practitioner of neurolinguistics, or researching how people communicate.
Gore’s humorous and motivating presentation shows people how they can create lives — work and relationships — that are more satisfying and fulfilling. Author of three books, several audio and video learning programs, and a frequent radio and TV presenter, she also has a regular newspaper column.
GITA will present its twenty-sixth annual conference on the use and benefits of geospatial information technologies such as geographic information systems (GIS), work management systems, customer information systems (CIS), and mobile computing. Organizers expect attendance from more than 3,500 professionals of all levels of experience involved with automated mapping/facilities management (AM/FM), GIS, and related geospatial technologies within electric, water, and gas utilities; telecommunications; oil and gas pipelines; government and public works.
