GISnet Solutions Finland Oy has announced GISnet JobDispatcher at the OracleWorld congress. JobDispatcher is a map-based application for communicating with the field workers. It is a state-of-the-art Internet-based resource planning solution for mid-sized companies. It consists of an Internet mapping application for the control center and MMS enabled client terminals, like Nokia 7650, for fieldworkers. The usage of JobDispatcher application will make the fieldwork management more efficient while also improving customer satisfaction. Application is shown for the first time at the OracleWorld in Nokia’s stand.
GISnet JobDispatcher brings a new dimension to fieldwork management. The new product family consists of two different versions. Both are designed to provide some of the required resource planning functions. People working in a customer service, helpdesk or info centers can navigate on the map and find addresses with a simple geocoder tool. As a result, the user gets a map from the exact area and he can send a MMS message to the mobile client with a job task.
The new JobDispatcher application as well as other GISnet’s mobile mapping applications designed for Nokia’s terminals are shown in the Nokia’s stand at the OracleWorld congress taking place in San Francisco, California on the 10-14 of November. OracleWorld is Oracle’s largest technology conference. It is targeted for IT Managers, DBA’s, Developers and Oracle Partners.
