U.S: Exeter, a town in Rhode Island, U.S, is planning to develop GIS digital data and an interactive WebGIS application. The Web application will enable citizens to seek information on parcel-based queries and mapping.
The project will be funded through 2012 Planning Challenge grant awarded by the State of Rhode Island. The plan is to develop a high-quality town-wide digital parcel database and to develop an internet-based GIS mapping platform and portal for publishing the municipal GIS online. The application will integrate other RIGIS (Rhode Island GIS) and local data.
