UK, 13 February 2007 – A seminar on 3D urban modelling and ways in which it can be implemented into working life is being organised by aerial photography specialists Getmapping. To be held at Bath Spa University, Bath on Thursday 19th April, 2007, the one day seminar will provide an operational insight into the potential of 3D urban modelling and its uses in the modern work place.
Discussions and demonstrations will focus on the growing benefits of 3D modelling, the difference between data sets currently available, a review of the tools currently accessible for analysing data and the new storage/streaming technologies that can be used. The seminar will also suggest how to build a 3D strategy for your organisation.
Attendees will be able to participate in workshops to obtain hands-on experience of these developing technologies. The seminar will be starting at 9.45am.
